The Orbital Polisher Rupes BigFoot Duetto LHR12E, 12mm, 125mm is an all-in-one grinding and polishing system for painted surfaces. Duetto works equally effectively with soft or interface supports combined with micro-abrasives during the defect correction stage or with sponges and polishing foam compounds during the polishing stage. Extensive research into random orbital dynamics and exhaustive testing led to the choice of a 12 mm orbit for the Duetto. This orbital length greatly improves the surface grinding abilities of the latest generation of microabrasive discs. The combination of Duetto and microabrasives is especially effective for smoothing orange peel or significant defects. The finish generated by this combination is both homogeneous and predictable, without traces of deep sanding.

The use of microabrasive discs to correct severe defects creates a surface that is easy to polish, radically reducing the total time of the complete correction process. Duetto is so well balanced and low vibration that the operator can easily control the grinding stage by simply guiding the duetto over the surface. The operator's ability to control the tool so effectively minimizes the chances of creating rough, uneven surfaces that require a time-consuming repair.

The Duetto has several design features that make it uniquely operator friendly.

The anti-rotation device reduces the chances of operator error even for a novice technician. The front handle allows the operator to place his hand in the virtual balance center of the instrument and keeps vibrations to a minimum.

The electronic module has a built-in torque control, reducing the need for the operator to apply significant vertical downward pressure. Another unique feature of the Duetto is the rubber stand that allows the operator to place the Duetto on a workbench without the abrasive disc touching a surface that may contain contaminants that could be transferred to the workpiece during the sanding process.
