Characteristics:

The medial side entry opening/closing system features an elastic-mounted zipper with a wide velcro closure for flexibility and a secure fit. The diaphragm opening is large to facilitate entry/exit.
Internal finger protection is layered under the upper for improved durability, feel and performance.
New, anatomically removable insole, includes EVA and Lycra for performance, comfort and support.

Construction:

The newly designed upper incorporates innovative front, back and rear calf zones for a superior level of flexibility. The upper part is made of microfiber for durability and abrasion resistance.
Ergonomic shape to streamline the forefoot to allow greater control of the motorcycle controls.
Alpinestars innovative TPU lateral ankle protection provides biomechanical support between the upper calf/lateral shin and ankles and provides improved structural integrity, impact shock protection, resistance to repeated abrasion and flexibility support.
Air vents on the heel and shin plate plus breathable mesh inserts (vented version only) improve comfort and reduce fatigue on short and long runs.
High modulus TPU injected shin guard, calf guard, heel counter, shift pad, ankle and toe slider for improved shock protection and durability.
Alpinestars new and exclusive compound rubber sole promotes improved feel and grip, water dispersion and durability.
The integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU slider features a new easy screw-on concept for faster and easier replacement.
Innovative construction with flexible Achilles tendon area for superior comfort, extension, control and support.
The inner lining made of breathable textile material has anti-slip reinforcements made of suede on the heel area, which helps to keep the foot in position while walking.
