In Race mode, the Tech-Air 10 system is only active when you drive above approximately 60 km/h (37 mph) for at least 10 seconds. Before this activation or when the pilot's speed drops constantly below this speed for at least 10 seconds, the system is deactivated. This is the standard behavior of the Tech-Air 10 Airbag System in Race mode, because it is normal to have fast stop and go situations where the pilot does not want to deactivate the airbag. If the inflation test is passed, confirming that the airbag was not damaged during deployment, the service will only involve replacing the gas inflators. If the inflation test is not passed, it means that the airbag was damaged during deployment, and the System will be subject to the entire service which will involve replacing the gas inflators and the airbag. At the third deployment, the System will be subject to a complete service, with the gas inflators and airbags being replaced.
