Synthetic Aircraft Grease Mobil Mobilgrease 28, 2kg is a supreme performance, wide temperature, anti-wear grease designed to combine the unique characteristics of a synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluid with an organo-clay thickening agent (soap-free). Its consistency is between a NLGI no. 1 and no. 2 grease. It offers outstanding performance over a wide range of temperatures. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid, together with its high viscosity index compared to mineral oils, provides excellent low temperature pumpability, very low starting and running torque and can help reduce operating temperatures in the area for loading the bearings of the rolling elements.

Applications:

Synthetic Aircraft Grease Mobil Mobilgrease 28, 2kg is designed for the lubrication of low to high speed plain and rolling bearings and splines, screws, worm gears and other wear mechanisms where high friction reduction, small and low lubricant friction losses are required. The recommended operating temperature range is -54 °C to 177 °C (-65 °F to 350 °F) with adequate relubrication intervals.

Synthetic Aircraft Grease Mobil Mobilgrease 28, 2kg is recommended for use in landing gear assemblies, control systems and actuators, screw jacks, servos, sealed bearing motors, rocker bearings and helicopter rotor bearings on military and civilian aircraft.
