Cutting Polish Pad HDO CCS Blue, 130/140mm HDO stands for "Heavy Duty Orbital," which means this technology was primarily developed for modern polishing machines with eccentric and forced eccentric movements.
Another key technology offered by Lake Country is CCS, which stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. The CCS surface is equipped with small pockets, whose inner area has a closed-cell structure due to a special process, although the polishing pad foam is otherwise open-pored. This property means that CCS pads can be used with much less polish. The polish penetrates the pocket, but not the polishing pad, and therefore can be worked for much longer. At the same time, the cell structure is better cooled, and the pad cannot dry out on its own due to the drying of the polish. With the new HDO CCS Pads, both technologies are available in a single series of pads. The American manufacturer surprises the market with this, as the production of the pads is at the same price level as the "regular" HDO pads.
